What does the Trezor Safe 5 add over the Safe 3?
A 1.54 inch color touchscreen with haptic feedback, so PIN and passphrase entry happen on the device, plus a more premium build. Security chip and software are the same.

Does the Trezor Safe 5 support Shamir backup?
Yes. You can choose a standard 12 or 20 word backup or a multi share Shamir backup during setup in Trezor Suite.

Is the Trezor Safe 5 open source?
Yes. Trezor firmware and Trezor Suite are open source and publicly auditable, with a Secure Element protecting the PIN and seed.

Is this device genuine and factory sealed?

Yes. The Crypto Merchant is an authorized reseller and sources every wallet from the manufacturer or its authorized distributor. Devices arrive new and sealed. We never open, pre-configure or ship a wallet with a pre-written recovery phrase. If a seal looks tampered with on arrival, do not use the device and contact us.

How long does shipping take?

US orders ship free with tracking and usually arrive within 2 to 4 business days from our warehouse in Florida. International shipping options and rates are shown at checkout.

What is the return policy?

Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Opened hardware wallets cannot be resold for security reasons, so they are not returnable. See our refund policy for the full terms, including restocking fees.

What if the device is faulty?

Hardware wallets are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If a device is defective, email support@thecryptomerchant.com and we will point you to the right warranty process for your brand.
